The Nest Learning Thermostat should be installed by a Nest Certified Professional. They'll ensure Nest is installed in the right location, attach the heat link and make sure everything' working well.
Do You Need The Stand?
The Nest Thermostat for the UK can be installed on a wall, or you can use the Stand for Nest Learning Thermostat to put Nest on a table or shelf.
We recommend using the stand if you don't already have a thermostat, have a wireless thermostat or want to install Nest in a new place. With the stand, you can easily hide Nest's power cable and put your thermostat in a good place to sense the temperature.
